John B. Lowe has over twenty years experience and numerous credits as a professional actor and director. He lives in Vancouver and the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada and continues to work in film, television and theatre.John has been seen in many feature films and TV movies such as Fido and The Butterfly Effect with lead roles in Disney's The Ultimate Christmas Present, and Trapped for the USA Network. He was a recurring character in the CBC TV series Nothing Too Good For A Cowboy and has made many guest appearances on TV shows such as Millennium, X-Files, First Wave, The Immortal, Beggars and Choosers, The New Addams Family, Cold Squad and others.He recently appeared on stage in the Sunshine Theatre production Here On The Flight Path. Other recent theatre credits include An Inspector Calls for The Chemainus Theatre Festival, Measure For Measure at the Citadel Theatre and appearances in For The Pleasure Of Seeing Her Again and The Drawer Boy for Sunshine Theatre and Dear Santa and Over The River And Through The Woods for Western Canada Theatre and The Gateway.John has taught acting to many professional and community film and theatre organizations since 1989, including The Citadel Theatre, Sunshine Theatre, The Okanagan School of The Arts, Vernon Community Arts Centre, Centre for Arts and Technology. John is also the lead instructor for Western Canada Theatre's Stage One Theatre School. He was artistic director of St. Albert Children's Theatre and has produced and acted in many independent theatre projects including the improvised soap-opera, Die Nasty, and the award-winning fringe shows Greater Tuna and Giant Ants!John has produced, written and directed several short film and video projects including the award-winning short film, Windows Of White and produced and wrote Art Ephemeral. He is currently developing several film projects for his company, Broccolo Creative.
